PKP

This ministry is the first year of our two-year Confirmation preparation program.

PKP stands for Priest, King, and Prophet. These are the three offices of Christ we participate in as baptized Christians. The Sacrament of Confirmation strengthens us so we can play our part in the Mission of the Church in the World.
In the second year of preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation, youth discuss what means to be a disciple of Christ and what that looks like. We cover topics such as the Church in the Modern World, Stewardship, Vocation, and Catholic Social Teaching.

PKP will meet one Wednesday a month at 6:30 p.m. The complete calendar and expectations for the program are listed in the menu to the left. Program fees are $100 per student and help cover the cost of materials, food, activities as well as the three-day retreat in the spring and other pilgrimage trips.

Since meetings will be Wednesday evenings, these high school students are also encouraged to check out the Antioch high school program that will meet on Sunday evenings and offer different fellowship and retreat opportunities with their peers. Learn more about Antioch
